Aurora Energy welcomes two new members to its team.

Simon joined the team as a program manager in early May. Simon possesses a unique combination of business (MBA), engineering (BSEE) and non-profit experience in five countries and speaks English, Spanish and German (BA German) fluently. One of his major accomplishments is co-founding an iNGO dedicated to providing water, sanitation and hygiene education to rural communities in Colombia, which helped over 10,000 people and continues to blossom as part of a large international NGO.

Pete joined the team as a commercial relationship manager in early June. He is an award-winning Solar Consultant. In 2009, Pete entered the solar movement because he wanted to be on the front line of the environmental movement making real change. Years of experience from helping over 600 clients at SolarCity, Tesla, and Sunrun has helped Pete to become an expert in the renewable industry. Pete’s feels his most notable accomplishment to date was working with his clients and the Give Power Foundation to install solar power for free at three schools in Mali Africa that previously had no electricity. He feels every client he helps go solar is a part of an ongoing positive and lasting legacy.
