With a vision of “Growing Value with Sustainable Results” Meinhardt Properties was looking for a way to conserve resources for its new commercial office building located in White Plains Corporate Business Center III. Rooftop solar seemed like a viable option considering the building’s available roof space.
Along with Meinhardt’s team, Aurora Energy designed a 89.1 kW rooftop array utilizing Hyundai HiS-330 modules with SolarEdge optimizers and inverters that would offset a percentage of the building’s common area electricity usage.
The installation will save the company more than $580,000 over the life of the system, while preventing over 1,800 metric tons of carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere over the next 25 years. As a company that strives to align their business practices with the principles of sustainable growth, saving money while preventing CO2 pollution falls squarely within their intended targets.
