When our customer approached us about installing solar on his warehouse property located in downtown Baltimore, he had plans to convert the space into an office building. He wanted to see how much of the energy needs of the newly-renovated office space could be offset with a solar array.
Through innovative design, Aurora Energy was able to find the solutions that met our customer’s needs utilizing SunPower SPR-P19-395-COM modules and a SolarEdge SE43.2K string inverter. The system will offset all of the building’s daily usage.
Able to take advantage of the Federal Tax Credit (ITC) as well as the Bonus Depreciation and a MEA Commercial Solar rebate, our customer will not only be saving on his property’s utility bills, but will have the system pay for itself in just a few short years. By offsetting it’s energy use, and preventing over 52 metric tons of carbon dioxide from being emitted annually, this newly renovated building will be doing its part in the clean energy transition.
