Aurora Energy welcomes Cord Briggs to run DC operations

Aurora Energy has just brought Cord Briggs on board as Managing Director of the Washington D.C. Office.

Cord was previously with Energetix, a top EPC company in Singapore, where he helped the company build over 18 MW of rooftop C&I projects in the 2 ½ year he was with there. Prior to that, Cord earned his MBA from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

As an undergrad at College of Wooster in Ohio, Cord double majored in Anthropology and Music.  He spent several years post-graduation working for Clean Water Action’s DC office organizing and fundraising for their grassroots environmental initiatives before he was promoted to their Philadelphia office as Staff & Outreach Director where he helped lead the organization to state and local environmental victories.

Cord is passionate about transitioning our energy infrastructure ­­and believes that solar is a central element to rapid decarbonization. He enjoys finding solutions for business owners in order to meet their energy needs while decreasing their costs through distributed solar energy.

In his free time he enjoys cycling, basketball, reading and playing music.  Welcome aboard, Cord!
